A great place to stay for fishing the passport beats around the Taw and they also have their own fishing on the upper main river. Salmon, sea trout and wild brownies are the order of the day, the rooms are very comfortable and the food excellent. It is also the HQ of the Devon School of Fly Fishing.
The Half Moon, Sheepwash River Torridge. Tel: 01409 231376
